Huaqing Shares Industry Insights at Jiangsu Ocean University, Discussing the Future of Water Treatment and Talent Development
Huaqing Environmental Engineering recently visited Jiangsu Ocean University at the institution’s invitation, delivering a specialized technical lecture titled “The Modular Revolution: Innovation and Practice in Containerized Wastewater Treatment.” The event aimed to bridge the gap between industry and academia by bringing cutting-edge technology, real-world case studies, and talent development perspectives directly to students and faculty.
As a pioneer in modular wastewater treatment with two decades of experience and hundreds of global projects, Huaqing was represented by General Manager Ms. Zhu and the core R&D team. They provided a comprehensive, in-depth presentation on the company’s containerized systems, covering technical principles, design innovation, intelligent operation, and diverse global applications.
The exchange focused on three key areas:
- Technology in Focus:A detailed analysis of how complex processes like A²/O, MBR, and advanced oxidation are integrated into standard containers to create standardized, modular, and intelligent systems. The discussion highlighted their unique advantages for rapid deployment, harsh environments, and space-limited sites.
- Global Projects in Practice:Real-world case studies from five different countries demonstrated how a single technological platform can be adapted to meet varying regulations, water quality standards, and client needs, offering practical answers to questions about implementation.
- Building Future Talent:The session emphasized the crucial link between industry needs and academic training, inspiring students to consider careers in environmental engineering.
Professor Xu from the University’s Environmental Science program noted, “This exchange was highly successful. Huaqing brought not only leading industrial technology but also invaluable engineering perspectives. It is immensely valuable for broadening our students’ horizons and stimulating innovative thinking.”
Ms. Zhu, Huaqing’s General Manager, concluded, “Young talent is the wellspring of innovation. Engaging with future engineers on campus is a vital part of our corporate responsibility and our commitment to the industry. We hope sharing genuine industry experience will inspire more talented students to join the environmental sector and contribute to solving global water challenges. Huaqing’s door is always open to young professionals passionate about this field.”
This campus visit not only strengthened Huaqing’s reputation within the academic community but also laid a solid foundation for future university-industry collaboration and talent development. Huaqing remains committed to fostering these interactions, ensuring market needs inform academic research to accelerate both technological advancement and the cultivation of the next generation of innovators.
